50% of emergency freight costs up to the value of $5,000.

Who is this for?

NT primary producers located in an eligible local government area.

Overview

Funding is available to assist with transport freight costs associated with:

  • moving emergency fodder for livestock
  • removal of stock from the impacted area
  • replacement of buildings for livestock
  • fencing repairs
  • machinery and equipment associated with livestock or replace animals lost from the event.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must:

  • be a primary producer and a Territory Enterprise
  • hold a valid Australian business number (ABN)
  • have been providing goods and/or services to the public wholly or substantially in the Northern Territory at the time of the incurred losses in an eligible impacted area
  • have been actively trading with an annual turnover of at least $75,000 and less than $10 million.

Additionally, you must be located in one of the following local government areas:

  • Barkly
  • Central Desert
  • Roper Gulf
  • Victoria Daly
  • West Daly
  • MacDonnell.
