Concept of Defence Industry and Innovation stand at Land Forces 2018

The Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC) and Defence Innovation Hub will be co-located at stand 5B4, in the foyer of the Adelaide Convention Centre and adjacent to our three free meeting rooms.

Presented in collaboration with the Australian Army, Land Forces 2018 is an international industry exposition to showcase equipment, technology and services for the armies of Australia and the Indo-Asia-Pacific.

We encourage you to come and talk our representatives, who can help you with advice on building your business in the defence industry and innovating with Defence. We also have a program of specialised briefings, panel discussions and networking opportunities:

  • Defence Industry and Innovation Programs and policy settings update. Hear representatives from the Department of Defence speak on the Defence Industrial Capability Plan, Defence Exports Office, Defence Innovation System and the CDIC. Open and free to Land Forces 2018 trade visitors, exhibitors and conference delegates.
  • Showcasing Australian industrial capability – a discussion with industry leaders. Members of the CDIC Advisory Board will lead a discussion on sector development, including a summary of CDIC progress in industry engagement, and where industry needs to be to meet the challenges of the Sovereign Industrial Capability Priorities. Open and free to Land Forces 2018 trade visitors, exhibitors and conference delegates.
  • Networking with global primes. Are you looking to supply into the global markets of the defence primes? Find out about the Global Supply Chain Program and meet representatives of six global primes at this special get together. Places are limited – find out more.
  • Australia-Israel defence industry briefing and networking event. A defence industry cooperation briefing and networking event for Australian and Israeli industry, this event will be run by the Defence Innovation Hub and include a briefing on an upcoming Australia-Israel capability challenge and opportunities for future industry cooperation.   • Free meeting rooms to talk business in private. We’re pleased to offer small and medium sized businesses access to our three meeting rooms, adjacent to our stand in the foyer at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
