Up to $20,000.
Operators of licensed premises based in the Northern Territory.
Overview
An Alcohol Secure Grant provides operators of Northern Territory licensed premises with funding to help them protect their alcohol stock from theft or damage.
Licensed premises can include:
- restaurants
- pubs
- cafes
- supermarkets
- other liquor retailers
The funding must be used to purchase and install fittings and equipment that will be permanently fixed to the business. Any works undertaken must improve the security and safety of any alcohol stock on the premises.
Funding may not be used for security cameras or other passive security measures.
Available funding includes:
- $10,000 for liquor safety improvement works without co-contribution, or
- $20,000 with dollar for dollar co-contribution by the applicant
You can apply for funding to support works on up to three approved premises.
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must be a Northern Territory based business or organisation who:
- services customers or clientele from a shopfront or has a publicly accessible entry / exit point
- has no more than 100 proprietors and employees
- holds a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
- holds a valid subsisting licence to sell liquor on or from the premises under the Liquor Act (NT) and not be in breach of that licence
