Tasmanian artists and art groups.
Overview
Artsbridge supports individual artists, partnerships, collaborations and unincorporated groups working in any art form to take up opportunities that arise at short notice. They should be important in terms of an artist's professional and artistic development and may be interstate or overseas.
Artsbridge provides funding for
- travel and / or freight expenses (excluding accommodation) associated with national or overseas opportunities, and / or
- travel, accommodation and living expenses associated with bringing national or international practitioners to Tasmania
Funding available for national or international opportunities, includes:
- up to $3,000 per person
- up to $10,000 for a group of four or more people
Funding available to bring one or more practitioners to Tasmania, includes:
- up to $1,000 towards bringing practitioners from interstate
- up to $3,000 towards bringing practitioners from overseas
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must be:
- based in Tasmania
- an individual artists or arts worker
- a partnership, collaboration and other unincorporated group with at least one Tasmanian member, or
- an arts organisations based outside of Tasmania, but running a program in Tasmania, or
- a small museums and collections based in Tasmania
Previous grants recipients who have not acquitted their grants to the satisfaction of Arts Tasmania cannot apply.
