Building Partnerships provides startups with funding to help them pilot projects and create marketing opportunities for technology that addresses an industry need or market gap.

What do you get?

Up to 35% of approved project costs to a maximum of $100,000.

Who is this for?

NSW post revenue technology startups.


Funding is available to help revenue generating startups develop innovative new-to-market solutions, including:

  • expanding or pivoting an innovative product or solution
  • acquiring a major customer
  • delivering at scale
  • building access to a new market.

The solution must use an enabling technology to address a compelling industry need or market gap.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, applicants should:

  • be post revenue
  • have a NSW based Australian business number (ABN) and be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • haveĀ an innovative and scalable solution that can be deployed to multiple customers and be delivered within 12 months
  • own the relevant intellectual property, or the rights to commercialise the technology
  • demonstrate a consortium of partners who derive benefits from the proposed project
  • have adequate funding (at least 65% of total project costs) for the project.
