Overview

The SA Disaster Resilience Grant Funding supports projects that improve the ability of organisations and individuals to prepare for, respond to and recover from natural disasters and emergency events.

Funding will be allocated to projects that address disaster resilience in communities, by:

  • improving preparedness
  • building capacity and / or capability
  • increasing resilience

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must be a South Australian:

  • non-government (not-for-profit), including business associations and community groups
  • business (for profit)
  • local government
  • state government

Projects should:

  • increase community resilience before, during and after emergency events and / or support emergency management volunteers
  • commence on or before 1 July 2019
  • be completed by 30 June 2020
