Food Source Victoria Growth Grants

Food Source Growth Grants provide funding to farmers, growers, processors and manufacturers to implement their growth plan from a Food Source Victoria Planning Grant.

What do you get?

Funding varies on a case-by-case basis.

Who is this for?

Victorian farmers, growers, processors and manufacturers.

Food Source Victoria Growth Grants provide funding to support the implementation of actions identified in Growth Plans developed through a Food Source Victoria Planning Grant. Applicants may also apply for a Growth Grant if they have an existing equivalent plan.

Funding is available for a wide range of activities. Priority will be given to projects that address a supply chain issue that presents barriers to growth or export development.

Applicants are expected to co-contribute at least half of the total project cost. The total funding amount available is uncapped.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • be applying as coalition of two or more participants in the agri-food supply chain (for example farmers, growers, food processors and manufacturers, food service companies, retailers and supporting groups such as shippers, research groups and suppliers)
  • have at least one partner based in regional Victoria
  • be undertaking a financially viable project that has economic benefit to the sector and regional Victoria
  • be able to demonstrate that the agriculture product is primarily sourced from regional Victoria
