Cyber security is a growing issue for small business owners, with one in 5 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Australia having experienced a cyber-attack. A cyber-attack can result in financial losses, business disruption, loss of important data and reputational fallout.
We have developed a series of practical cyber security workshops to help business owners understand the risks and start to implement new tools and strategies to secure their business.
The workshop will include:
- the use of a simple data classification scheme to apply to their business processes and data holdings
- applying simple and consistent processes for storing and protecting information based on people, processes and technology (PPT)
- standards and processes to follow to ensure maximum result and minimise risk and data compromise.
