This workshop has been specifically designed for small business owners who have a basic understanding of what tendering is and are ready to take the next steps, or for people who have tried in the past with little success.

It’s ideal for those who are already working in or providing goods in the business-to-business space, either in government or private procurement.

The workshop includes an opportunity to practise completing a tender and provides useful tables and formats that can be re-used and repurposed.

Topics covered include:

  • how to find and downloading tenders, preparing and submitting tenders and obtaining post-tender feedback
  • detailed explanation of all elements of a tender, including mandatory compliance, qualitative and pricing
  • how to show value for money and ways to stand out from the crowd
  • the importance of determining gaps in business systems and processes
