The ACT government is delivering an economic survival package to support businesses and the community to survive the impacts of COVID-19. Assistance is varied and includes:

  • a business liaison centre to assist businesses to understand and access the support available to them
  • up to 4 hours of one-on-one fully subsidised, tailored advice and access to online business development resources for small businesses impacted by recent extreme events
  • waivers for food business registration, outdoor dining and liquor licensing fees
  • waivers for other business licensing fees 
  • rideshare and taxi vehicle licence fees waivers 
  • rebates on electricity fees 
  • payroll tax deferrals and waivers for various industries
  • rebate for commercial general rates 
  • relief for commercial tenancies 
  • rental relief to tenants of ACT government owned properties
