Overview

The Arts and Screen Digital Production Fund supports Tasmanian artists and arts organisations to work with Tasmanian screen professionals to make content for digital distribution and promotion. It is designed to support artists and arts organisations whose work has been cancelled, postponed or disrupted by COVID-19 to work with screen partners. 

Eligible activities include: 

  • producing excerpts of work for digital distribution
  • show reels
  • materials for national and international market development
  • adapting theatrical work or performances for digital platforms
  • or producing podcasts and audiobooks

Individuals or groups partnering with other individuals, groups or organisations can apply for up to $10,000. Organisations partnering with individuals or groups can apply for up to $10,000. Organisations partnering with other organisations can apply for up to $50,000.

What are the eligibility criteria?

Individuals, groups and organisations are eligible to apply.

If you are applying as an individual, you must be a practicing artist or arts worker who has been resident in Tasmania for 6 of the past 12 months. Groups must have at least one Tasmanian member.

Organisations must be registered under law (an incorporated association, or a company limited by guarantee) or created by law (a government statutory authority). Arts and screen organisations must be based in Tasmania.
