A subsidy of up to $15,000.
Who is this for?
South Australian businesses and not-for-profit organisations.
Overview
Subsidies are available for businesses and not-for-profits to access energy audit/assessments to help them identify, prioritise, and implement business sustainability improvements.
Funding can be used for:
- materials efficiency assessments
- resource efficiency assessments (energy, water, waste)
- lean production assessments
- sustainable procurement review/assessments
- research, design and business case development for implementation of circular economy principles
- energy audits or assessment.
If successful, applicants will receive:
- up to $10,000 for an assessment (co-contribution 2:1, GISA:applicant)
- up to $5,000 to implement assessment recommendations (co-contribution 1:1, GISA:applicant).
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, you must:
- use commercial waste collection services (in addition to, or instead of, council kerbside waste collection services)
- have been operating in South Australia for a minimum of 2 years
- hold a current Australian business number (ABN) and be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- hold and maintain Public Liability Insurance to the value of at least $1 million for the duration of the proposed project.
Not-for-profit organisations must be registered with an appropriate Australian and/or State-based authority as a legal entity.
