Who is this for?
Tasmanian businesses wanting to deliver business incubator and/or accelerator programs.
Overview
The program aims to support the creation of new businesses and support the success of existing early-stage businesses by providing specialist advice, support and assistance to decrease risk and increase sustainable, viable business development.
The program has 2 streams of funding:
- Stream 1 – provides businesses with funding to deliver business incubator program/s aimed at new businesses or for those exploring a venture in its infancy.
- Stream 2 – provides businesses with funding to deliver business accelerator program/s specifically targeted at existing businesses wanting to diversify or scale up.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, you must be:
- registered for tax purposes in Australia with an active Australian business number (ABN)
- a minimum 50% owned Tasmanian business or partnership/consortium of businesses
- able to demonstrate relevant experience (minimum 2 years) in delivering successful business incubator and/or accelerator programs
- able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of existing small business support programs and identify opportunities for new and unique programs that target a growing gap in the market.
