Business Rebound and Adaptation Grant NT

The Business Rebound and Adaptation Grant provides funding to small businesses affected by COVID-19 to help them carry out works that enhance customer experience and improve business performance.

Matched funding of up to $10,000.

Who is this for?

Northern Territory small businesses.


Grants can be used to carry out renovations, improvements, repairs and maintenance, including:

  • access/egress management for a property
  • increase the capacity of the business to serve customers
  • technological improvements such as website design
  • redesign/refurbishment of premises
  • occupational health and safety/security
  • reconfiguring layouts for physical distancing
  • cashless 'no touch' payment
  • partitioning
  • training programs for staff
  • advice on and fixtures installed in a property in relation to hygiene practices
  • professional services (e.g accounting, legal, business planning)
  • physical improvements to premises.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, your business must:

  • be a legal entity
  • hold a valid Australian business number (ABN) as at 29 July 2020
  • be a Territory enterprise
  • have a maximum of 199 employees (including a sole trader where the only employee is the proprietor of the business)
  • have had a minimum turnover of $75,000 for the 2018-19 financial year, and would have expected to have turnover equal to that amount for theĀ 2019-2020 financial year but for the effect of coronavirus (COVID-19) on your business
  • be able to demonstrate at least a 30% reduction in turnover due to coronavirus.
