1:1 matched funding at a minimum funding amount of $50,000 (excluding GST).

Who is this for?

Organisations undertaking projects that strengthen the circular economy in the NT.

Overview

Funding is available for projects that improve recycling outcomes and address critical gaps around waste management and resource recovery in the NT.

Priority will be given to projects that target construction and demolition (C&D) waste and food organics and garden organics (FOGO) waste, and:

  • increasing the capacity for domestic recycling and remanufacturing and reuse of waste materials
  • creating offtake markets for recycled materials – preferably in NT
  • increasing the supply of quality recycled materials available for re-use.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • be an incorporated legal entity
  • have a valid Australian business number (ABN) and have operated under that ABN for at least one year at the date of application submission
  • evidence their financial capacity and authority to commit co-funding of at least 50% of the eligible costs
  • have a history of compliance with legislative requirements.
