Funding of between $20,000 and $150,000.

Who is this for?

New South Wales organisations involved in viable industrial ecological projects.

Overview

This program supports projects that will recover materials that would otherwise be sent to landfill (e.g. plastic, mixed paper and cardboard), and instead use them as feedstock for other commercial, industrial or construction processes.

Funding can be used for the following:

  • staff time
  • consultation time developing the detailed project plan, assisting in relevant licensing and approvals processes and developing new markets
  • sampling, testing and monitoring costs
  • transportation of materials
  • equipment and infrastructure hire
  • equipment purchase
  • delivery and installation of equipment

What are the eligibility criteria?

The following organisations may apply for funding:

  • private corporations
  • not-for-profit organisations
  • consultancies
  • industry associations or peak bodies
  • waste and recovery providers
  • product stewardship groups
  • government agencies and organisations, and government-owned/controlled entities
  • a consortium of any of the above

Eligibility criteria also apply to the proposed project.
