The City Reactivation Event Grants aim to support event organisers to deliver events in a COVID-safe manner and help encourage people back into the City of Melbourne.

The grants support publicly accessible events that create memorable, engaging and innovative experiences for locals and visitors.

Funding includes:

  • up to $25,000 for small events, exhibitions and activations
  • $25,001 to $100,000 for medium to large events with extensive programming (will need to show evidence of other sources of revenue)

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must have a valid Australian business number (ABN).

Additionally, the event must:

  • be available to the public and attract a minimum of 500 people
  • be accessible to all people of all abilities
  • occur within the City of Melbourne during 2021
