Funding for organisations to establish a fast-charging network across Victoria

This program provides organisations with funding to help with the costs of establishing a fast-charging electric vehicle (EV) network across Victoria.

Overview

This program aims to establish a coordinated EV charging network at key tourist destinations, high-use locations and priority regional towns across Victoria.

Funding is available for projects which deliver the following outcomes:

• implementation of EV fast-charging technology
• reduce barriers to EV take up
• ensure even coverage of charging infrastructure that is readily available for Victorians across the state
• create project supply chain and local jobs, i.e. skills, capabilities and services across each service area
• consider community, economic and social benefit
• reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, organisations must ideally operate in Victoria and:

• provide evidence of duration of operation
• have an Australian business number (ABN)
• provide details of funding secured, or evidence of a plan to secure funding for the project (no projects will be fully funded under this program)
• be either local government, commercial for-profit, not-for-profit or community organisations.
