Overview
The ACT government is delivering an economic survival package to support businesses and the community to survive the impacts of COVID-19. Assistance is varied and includes:
- a business liaison centre to assist businesses to understand and access the support available to them
- up to 4 hours of one-on-one fully subsidised, tailored advice and access to online business development resources for small businesses impacted by recent extreme events
- waivers for food business registration, outdoor dining and liquor licensing fees
- waivers for other business licensing fees
- rideshare and taxi vehicle licence fees waivers
- rebates on electricity fees
- payroll tax deferrals and waivers for various industries
- rebate for commercial general rates
- relief for commercial tenancies
- rental relief to tenants of ACT government owned properties
