This program provides funding for non-profit organisations impacted by the recent floods in north and north-west Tasmania.

Non-profit organisations in northern Tasmania impacted by flooding, October 2022.
Overview
Funding is available to assist with costs of clean-up and reinstatement of non-profits that have suffered direct damage as a result of the severe weather event in October 2022.
2 tiers of funding are available to help pay for clean-up and reinstatement costs:
- Tier 1 – funding of $2,500 to support initial costs
- Tier 2 – subsequent funding of $22,500 to support ongoing costs.
Funding is available to non-profits within the following impacted municipalities:
- Break O’Day
- Burnie
- Central Coast
- Central Highlands
- Circular Head
- Devonport
- Dorset
- Flinders
- George Town
- Kentish
- Latrobe
- Launceston
- Meander Valley
- Northern Midlands
- Waratah-Wynyard
- West Coast
- West Tamar.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
- operate as a non-profit located in an eligible LGA, and have been operating immediately prior to the severe weather event that began 13 October 2022
- be registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC) and have held this registration on or before 13 October 2022
- have suffered direct damage to premises and/or tools
- be intending to re-establish at the same location in the same municipality
- be claiming for costs relating to clean-up activities.
