Overview

The NSW Government has applied for an emergency use permit with the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) for the use of bromadiolone.

Bait preparation sites will be set up to allow broadacre farmers to treat grain for mouse bait on the perimeters of paddocks.

Farmers will need to provide their own grain and arrange for the safe transportation of the grain to and from the treatment sites

Treatment sites will be set up across rural NSW in the following areas:

  • Coonamble
  • Dubbo
  • Forbes
  • Gunnedah
  • Holbrook
  • Inverell
  • Jerilderie
  • Merriwa
  • Moree
  • Mudgee
  • Narrabri
  • Narrandera
  • Nyngan
  • Scone
  • Tamworth
  • Wagga Wagga
  • Walgett
  • Warialda.
