Overview
This program will appoint up to 4 organisations to provide personalised support to small businesses in the 4 district regions of Tasmania. They will support businesses to develop leading work practices that support them to attract and retain a workforce by working towards being an employer of choice.
The advisory services will support small businesses with expert and tailored advice on:
- managing staff mental health and wellbeing
- workforce planning, attraction and retention strategies
- staff engagement, culture and change management
- creating workplaces that support diversity.
Services will be delivered in the 4 following regions
- east (Dorset, Break O'day, Glamorgan Spring Bay, Sorell, Tasman)
- west, north-west (West Coast, Ulverstone, King Island, Burnie, Devonport, Central Coast, Wynyard, Circular Head, Latrobe, Kentish)
- north (George Town Flinders, West Tamar, Northern Midlands, Launceston, Meander Valley)
- south (Hobart, Glenorchy, Kingborough, Clarence, Brighton, Derwent Valley, Central Highlands, Southern Midlands, Huon Valley).

To be eligible, applicants must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- be operating in Tasmania at the time of application
- be a sole trader, partnership, company, trust or an incorporated organisation
- be able to commence delivery of services by 1 July 2023 at the latest.
