Teachers, scientists, organisations, citizen science groups and community groups.
Overview
Funding is available to assist teachers, scientists, organisations, citizen science groups and community groups deliver events and educational activities or conduct citizen science projects that tackle important issues in Queensland.
Grants of up to $20,000 each (excluding GST) are available to support applicants to deliver events, activities or projects for up to 12-months.
Projects that seek to increase STEM participation in under-represented sectors such as First Nations peoples, and girls and women or disadvantaged groups will be highly regarded.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
- have an address located in Queensland
- have current public liability insurance
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- engage Queenslanders in science
- deliver the event or project within a 12-month period
- not place unreasonable financial burden on participants
- not generate a profit.
