Who is this for?
QLD primary producers in an eligible defined disaster area.
Overview
Funding is available to help with costs associated with:
- purchasing and distributing emergency fodder for livestock affected by the eligible disaster (costs must be incurred between 1 March – 14 April 2023)
- removing and disposing of livestock that died because of, or in connection with, the eligible disaster (costs must be incurred between 1 March – 1 August 2023).
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, you must:
- be a primary producer
- hold an Australian business number (ABN) and have held that number at the time of the eligible disaster
- have a primary production enterprise that is located in the defined area for the eligible disaster that has suffered direct damage as a result of the eligible disaster
- have been engaged in carrying on the primary production enterprise when affected by the eligible disaster
- be primarily responsible for meeting the costs claimed in the application
- have paid for an animal welfare activity during the relevant period
- intend to re-establish the primary production enterprise in the define disaster area for the eligible disaster.
