Who is this for?

South Australian startup/early-stage businesses.


This program is aimed at startups that have developed, or have an idea for, a novel product, process or service that meets an identified challenge in a government agency.

Having government as a customer, particularly as the first customer, offers businesses the opportunity to test new ideas, develop a proof of concept or enable a real-life trial in a supportive partnership; with the scope to extend service delivery beyond the pilot and become an ongoing provider to state government agencies.

This support can help businesses to grow and become more competitive in local and global markets.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, the startup/early-stage businesses must:

  • be headquartered (or willing to be headquartered) in South Australia
  • have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • have revenue (including revenue of any related bodies corporate) less than $10 million for the previous financial year
  • be less than 7 years old
