Funding of up to $20,000.
Who is this for?
Owners of heritage listed places/objects based in the Northern Territory.
Overview
Funding is available to protect and manage heritages places or objects in the NT. Priority is given to places and objects on the NT Heritage Register and Aboriginal archaeological places.
Eligible projects must be at least one of the following:
- conservation works to stabilise a place or object
- conservation works needed to protect the significant fabric of a place or object
- research and documentation for preserving, protecting and managing a place or object
- interpretation or provides education initiatives that will help the public understand the heritage values of a place or object
- recognises the diverse heritage of the NT
- promotes public engagement with the heritage of the NT
- research about a place or object already protected under the Heritage Act
- is historically significant to the NT.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, you must be the owner of the heritage place or object. An owner can be:
- an individual
- a private business
- a non-profit organisation
- a community group, including an Aboriginal organisation.
