Overview

Funding is available to horticultural enterprises (including flowers, fruits and nuts, vegetables and herbs, and ornamental trees) to commercially install or purchase new horticultural netting (fixed and demountable) over production areas planted prior to 14 December 2021.

Horticulture enterprises growing wine grapes may not apply for funding under this program.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must:

  • operate a primary production business
  • be property owners, share farmers, or leaseholders for the land parcel proposed for the project
  • operate a commercial horticultural enterprise in Victoria, excluding wine grape production
  • operate as a sole trader, partnership, trust or private company
  • hold an Australian business number (ABN) with primary place of business in Victoria
  • earn more than 50% of your gross income from your primary production business under normal seasonal circumstances.
