Lead Educate Assist Promote (LEAP) Grants SA

LEAP Grants provide coordinated business groups and industry sectors with funding to undertake projects that lead, educate assist and promote sustainable business practices.

What do you get?

Funding of up to $50,000.

Who is this for?

Coordinated business groups, peak industry bodies or associations.


This program supports change in areas such as improved waste management, resource efficiency, and transitioning to a more circular economy.

Projects must be delivered in partnership with independent service providers that are experts in their field, which may include circular economy, waste and materials management, resource efficiency, and/or lean production.

Eligible projects must address one or more of the following:

  • improved waste management, prioritising action in accordance with waste hierarchy principles of waste avoidance, reduction, reuse, and recycling
  • waste avoidance initiatives, including (but not limited to) product redesign, service reconfiguration, industrial symbiosis
  • resource efficiency (energy, water, materials)
  • lean production principles and practices
  • sustainable supply chain management and product stewardship initiatives

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must be:

  • an organisation that represents the interests of a South Australian industry sector, business network, cluster, or otherwise defined business group
  • included on Australian business register (ABR) with a valid Australian business number (ABN)
