What you get?

Up to $1.2 million for an organisation to deliver the program over 3 years.

Who is this for?

Tasmanian businesses and organisations.


Funding is available to businesses and organisations supporting specific population groups to reengage with work and/or formal education and training by providing skills assessment, careers coaching and employment advice and referrals to employers, relevant service providers or agencies.

This program aims to support:

  • people who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 or people who have been made redundant in the last 12 months
  • young people (18-25)
  • older Tasmanians (aged 45+) who have been out of the workforce for 12 months or more
  • migrants who have been residing in Tasmania for more than 6 months, have working rights and are unemployed or underemployed.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • be operating in Tasmania at the time of application
  • be a sole trader, partnership, company, trust or an incorporated organisation
  • have evidence of suitable worker's compensation, public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance
  • be able to commence delivery of the program by 1 July 2022 at the latest.
