Live Music and Event Cancellation Fund SA

This program provides funding to offset some of the financial losses associated with running major ticketed live music events in South Australia.

Funding of between $10,000 and $250,000.

Who is this for?

Organisers of live music and events in SA.


Event organisers can apply for funding if a major ticketed event is cancelled or rescheduled as a result of the introduction of new COVID-19 health restrictions by either the South Australian Government or the Australian Government.

To be considered for financial assistance, the planned event must be:

  • a major ticketed event delivering a program of entertainment to more than 5000 people
  • able to be attended by member of the public
  • planned to be held in SA in an indoor or outdoor venue
  • scheduled to take place between 1 July and 30 June 2023
  • well-planned and organised.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, applicants must be an event organiser:

  • based in Australia with an active Australian business number (ABN)
  • registered for goods and services tax (GST) at the scheduled time of the event
  • promoting and financing the delivery of an event in SA
  • that organises and owns the rights to the event.
