WA businesses in the health and medical life sciences sector.

Overview

Funding is available to help businesses in the health and life sciences sector with the costs of engaging external expertise to carry out the implementation and third party certification of the following national and international standards:

  • ISO 9001 – quality management standards to help work more efficiently and reduce product failures
  • ISO 13485:2016 – medical devices, quality management systems, requirements for regulatory purposes.

Funding of up to $20,000 (excluding GST) is available to cover 75% of eligible costs.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must:

  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be a company that operates in the health and medical life sciences sector, or be in partnership with a company in the sector
  • have been operating for at least 3 years
  • have your principal place of business in WA and continue to be based in WA for at least 12 months following the application submission date
  • employ less than 200 people.
