Nature-based Tourism Small Grants Program SA

This program provides funding to businesses and organisations to help them develop and deliver innovative, sustainable tourism experiences in South Australia.

What do you get?

Funding of between $2,000 and $15,000.

Who is this for?

South Australian businesses and organisations in the tourism sector.


Funding is available to create new or improved nature-based tourism experiences, including seasonal or pop-up experiences, as well as tourism/regional events in nature, parks and public places.

New or improved innovative tourism experiences may include, but are not limited to:

  • seasonal or pop-up tourism experiences
  • events that encourage visitation
  • commercial and/or cultural tours
  • interpretive, educational or interactive programs
  • temporary portable visitor facilities.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • be a legal entity
  • have a valid and active Australian business number (ABN)
  • have an account with an Australian financial institution.

The new or enhanced product or tourism experience must, or will need to be, registered on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) when completed.
