Overview
One-off payments are available for eligible nightclub licensees that have experienced a 30% decline in revenue due to the Level 1 Public Health and Social Measures requirements for density limits and social distancing.
Payment amounts are based on the following categories:
- $12,500 one-off payment for nightclubs with patron capacity license less than 250
- $25,000 one-off payment for nightclubs with patron capacity license between 250 and 500
- $50,000 one-off payment for nightclubs with patron capacity license greater than 500.
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, the nightclub must:
- have a valid and active Australian business number (ABN)
- be located in WA
- have a valid and active nightclub licence issued by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries
- have a minimum annual turnover of $50,000 per annum (excluding GST)
- have incurred a 30% reduction in turnover compared to last year over a 6-week period between 1 January 2022 to 30 April 2022 due to the impact of COVID-19 health and social measures requirements for density limits and social distancing
- have an Australian bank account.
