On-Farm Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate Scheme NT
The On-Farm Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate Scheme provides drought affected livestock farmers with a rebate to help with the costs of new water infrastructure for animal welfare needs.

Applications will remain open until 30 April 2022, or when funding is exhausted, whichever occurs first.

Funding of up to $25,000.

NT drought affected livestock farmers.
Overview
This rebate may be used to help with the costs of purchasing, upgrading and installing emergency water infrastructure, including:
- pipes, water tanks and troughs
- water pumps
- drilling a new working groundwater bore by an NT licensed driller
- material or equipment necessary to install infrastructure (excluding the purchase of machinery)
- any freight component to purchase and install the equipment
- professional installation costs to install infrastructure.
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must:
- be part of a partnership, company or trust that spends more than 50% of their labour on, and gets more than 50% of their gross income from, a primary production enterprise
- be a property owner, share-farmer or lessee in the grazing industry
- own a property that has been affected by drought
- have not introduced any livestock on to the property during the drought, including agisted livestock
- require water infrastructure for genuine or imminent emergency animal welfare.
