Funding for flood and severe weather impacted TAS landowners

This program provides funding to offset financial costs of land restoration made necessary by the Tasmanian flooding and severe weather event in October 2022.

Overview

Funding is available to assist with the financial costs of clean-up and restoration of properties for landowners that have suffered an economic loss as a direct result of the flooding and severe weather event in October 2022.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• be a private landowner, leaseholder or organisation, not eligible for a grant under related grant programs
• be located in an affected municipality
• have incurred or will incur a financial cost for reasonable clean-up and restoration works
• not have received Tasmanian government assistance or support payments for the severe weather event Tasmania, October 2022.
