Tasmanian businesses in the resource recovery sector.

Overview

Supports investment in new infrastructure to enable the sorting, processing and remanufacturing of materials such as unprocessed waste glass, plastic, tyres and paper/cardboard.

Funding may be used for:

  • expenditure on plant, equipment and materials
  • labour expenses
  • site survey, engineering and civil works costs
  • administrative expenses (including travel)  

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • be an Australian registered business and have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • be either an organisation registered under Australian company law, or a council existing under the Local Government Act 1993 (or a council owned business)
  • not be under external Administration or have had applications for orders to appoint liquidators or provisional liquidators, or to be wound up or dissolved, or any other action relating to insolvency
  • provide a co-funding commitment of at least one third of the total project funding
