Regional Startup Hubs Support Program provides funding to regionally based startup hubs and groups to help them build their capability to attract and support local innovators.

Overview
Regional Startup Hubs Support Program provides funding to regionally based startup hubs and groups in Queensland to help them build their capability to deliver programs and activities to local innovators.
There are two tiers of funding available:
- Tier One - up to $25,000 per annum for up to three years for recognised startup support organisations that have a physical location at the time of applying
- Tier Two - up to $7500 for one year for recognised startup support organisations that have no physical location
Funding may be used to support the following activities:
- networking activities
- startup weekends and events
- delivery of education/skills programs
- presentations
- mentoring sessions
- workshops/forums
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, you must:
- have an Australian business number (ABN) and be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- be based in a Queensland region
- be recognised as a startup support organisation, delivering programs and events to local startups
Universities, professional services firms, financial institutions, government agencies and government owned corporations are not eligible to apply for this funding, but may be a project partner.
