Remanufacture NSW: Regional and Remote Modernisation Fund (RMF)

This program provides funding to regional and remote organisations in the resource recovery sector to undertake projects that improve waste management strategies.

What you get?

Matched funding of between $10,000 and $1 million.

Who is this for?

Businesses and organisations in the waste recovery sector in regional and remote NSW.


Eligible projects must propose to deliver or trial new, or increase processing capacity, in a regional or remote location in NSW, to address the processing of one of the following materials:

  • tyres
  • unprocessed glass
  • mixed or single resin/polymer plastics
  • paper and cardboard.

What are the eligibility criteria?

Applications will be accepted from eligible organisations, including:

  • businesses
  • local governments
  • non-government/not-for-profit organisations.

Applicants must also:

  • be registered for good and services tax (GST)
  • have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • not be insolvent
  • have a business plan in place for the proposal.
