WA businesses, start-ups, and individuals.

Overview

Funding is available to support small to medium enterprises, tech start-ups, emerging businesses, researchers, and not for profit organisations who are working with location data to develop outcomes that leverage the State's location information and deliver value to the land sector.

There are 2 funding categories:

  • general
  • First Nations.

Projects should demonstrate how location datasets can be used to deliver improvements to the land and property sector through:

  • data management and modelling
  • information sharing and collaboration
  • improved operational efficiency (e.g. process automation)
  • emerging┬ádigital technologies (e.g. digital twin or smart city capability)
  • cultural mapping activities
  • ranger programs
  • on-country programs.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • be a business or individual based in WA
  • have an Australian business number (ABN) or an Australian company number (ACN)
  • have location data as part of your project/product/service.
