Up to $25,000.

Who is this for?

WA businesses, start-ups, and individuals.


Funding is available to support small to medium enterprises, tech start-ups, emerging businesses, researchers, and not for profit organisations who are working with location data to develop outcomes that support land and property functions using location data and emerging technology.

Examples of new technology using location data include:

  • 3D and 4D data management and modelling
  • digital twin technology
  • smart city technology

There are 3 grant streams available, each with different eligibility criteria:

  • general
  • First Nations
  • Curtain University Research

Projects should demonstrate how location datasets can be used to deliver improvements to the land and property sector through:

  • data management and modelling
  • information sharing and collaboration
  • improved operational efficiency (e.g. process automation)
  • emerging┬ádigital technologies (e.g. digital twin or smart city capability)

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible you must:

  • be a business or individual based in WA
  • have an Australian business number (ABN) or an Australian company number (ACN)
  • have location data as part of your project/product/service
