Overview

Grants are available for:

  • hospitality businesses to support temporary outdoor dining and reopening
  • small and medium-sized businesses in any industry for:
    • COVID-safe remodelling and conversions
    • COVID-safe equipment and infrastructure including promoting outdoor activity
    • staff training and development activities to adapt to a COVID-19 operating environment
    • marketing and promotion

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • have a valid Australian business number (ABN)
  • have documented evidence of an appropriate legal structure, such as an Australian registered company, business cooperative or partnership
  • provide evidence of current public liability and professional indemnity insurance policies
  • employ people, up to 50 FTE employees at the time of application
  • be physically located within the City of Melbourne municipal boundary and offer products and services to customers face-to-face in an office or store that you own or rent
  • hold any relevant permits required to conduct your business including but not limited to, Food Certificates, Liquor Licences and any other necessary permits
