What you get?

Matched funding of between $1,000 and $5,000.

Who is this for?

Victorian small businesses and sole traders.


This program provides matched funding to eligible public-facing businesses investing in large projects to improve ventilation, such as building works, engaging professional services or purchasing equipment.

Funding is available for expenditures that lead to an improvement in one or more of the following types of air ventilation:

  • natural ventilation
  • mechanical ventilation
  • augmented ventilation.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, businesses must:

  • be an employing business that operates from a Victorian fixed address commercial premises that is physically open to the public for in-person purchases or the use of the business’s products and services
  • hold an active Australian business number (ABN) on and from 18 February 2022
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST) on and from 18 February 2022
  • have an annual Victorian payroll below $10 million for the 2020-21 financial year on an ungrouped basis as determined by the State Revenue Office (SRO)
  • be registered with WorkSafe Victoria
  • hold sufficient public liability insurance to cover operations.
