Funding to support enable bulk installation of solar PV and energy efficient hot water systems

Overview

Solar Victoria is making funding available to providers implementing innovative projects that will see solar PV and/or energy efficient hot water systems installed at scale in eligible properties in Victoria, helping to ease the transition for industry and households to fully electric homes.

Approved providers will gain access to bulk funding in the form of a grant to distribute to their customers who install solar PV and/or hot water in new or existing residential premises.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• operate in Victoria
• have an Australian business number (ABN)
• demonstrate safe and fair employment practices
• have appropriate third-party insurance
• accept specific consumer protections required by Solar Homes
• hold requisite licences and authorisations
• be willing to sign and comply with a funding agreement required by Solar Victoria
• have, or form a consortium with a business that has, a direct relationship with the property owner
• disclose all matters that may have an adverse effect on Solar Victoria, the State of Victoria, or this program, or any other similar Solar Victoria program.
