Tourism Business Survival Grant WA

The Tourism Business Survival Grant provides tourism businesses with funding to help them hibernate their tourism businesses, and to adapt and mobilise operations through the recovery period.

What do you get?

Funding of between $25,000 to $100,000.

Who is this for?

Western Australian tourism operators.


Funding is available for tourism businesses to help them mobilise and adapt to different markets and market conditions during the recovery period.

Examples of eligible expenditure include:

  • fixed costs and overheads e.g. storage, insurance, maintenance, utliites and rent
  • equipment deployment/activation for recovery
  • staff recruitment and training
  • reinstating supply-chain requirements and licences
  • marketing activities, particularly targeted at domestic markets

Funding may not be used for capital expenditure.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, you must:

  • be an Australian business with a tourism product or experience delivered in WA, and be requesting funding for its WA operations where assets and/or employees are located in WA
  • be a legal entity capable of entering into a legally binding and enforceable agreement (Grant Agreement) with Tourism WA
  • have a valid and active Australian business number (ABN)
