What do you get?

One-off grants of up to $50,000 for small businesses and up to $100,000 for medium to large businesses.
 

Who is this for?

TAS tourism and hospitality businesses.

Overview

Funding is available to businesses to implement projects to reduce emissions that align with one or more of the following themes:

  • transport e.g. purchase of battery electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid vehicles
  • waste reduction e.g. industrial compost bins
  • training and development e.g. sustainability or carbon accounting courses
  • technology, equipment or systems, e.g. replacing a gas cooktop with an induction cooktop.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, tourism and hospitality businesses must:

  • have completed an emissions/carbon audit report, including a baseline inventory of the business's emissions
  • have been registered for tax purposes with an Australian business number (ABN) on or before 1 July 2022
  • operate in Tasmania
  • demonstrate an annual sales turnover in the 2022-23 financial of less than $10 million for small businesses and equal to or more than $30 million for medium to large businesses
  • contribute at least one third of the total project costs as a cash contribution.
