Queensland tourism organisations.


Funding is available to projects that aim to:

  • rebuild visitor confidence in Queensland’s tourism industry
  • increase overnight visitor numbers and expenditure
  • deliver new and enhanced tourism products and experiences
  • drive demand for Queensland destinations
  • meet the changing preferences of consumers through enhanced tourism products.

Applicants are required to contribute at least 75% of the total project cost, i.e. for a project valued at $200,000 (excluding GST), the maximum grant funding available would be $50,000 (excluding GST).

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • be a private sector business, not for profit organisation or local government authority
  • have an established operating base in Queensland with a tourism related focus
  • have an Australian business number (ABN), or equivalent
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST).

Eligible costs are those costs directly associated with the delivery of a new project.
