Tourism Innovation Grant TAS
This program provides funding to Tasmanian hospitality and tourism businesses to help them develop a new or improved tourism product or experience.

Funding of between $50,000 and $1 million.
Who is this for?
Tasmanian tourism and hospitality businesses.
Overview
The aim of this program is to support the development of new or improved tourism products and experiences that will:
- generate visitation
- create strategic business benefit for the tourism and hospitality sectors
- assist in the development of contemporary and competitive Tasmanian tourism offerings which are consistent with the goals of the T21 Visitor Economy Recovery Action Plan to increase visitor spending, grow the value of regional tourism and support new employment opportunities.
There are 2 tiers of funding available:
- Tier 1 – for applications between $50,000 to $249,999
- Tier 2 – for applications of $250,000 to $1 million.
What are the eligibility criteria?
To be eligible, businesses must:
- be an existing or prospective provider in either accommodation services, attractions or experiences, tours and/or cruises
- be Tasmanian operated and/or owned and located in Tasmania in the above sectors
- have an Australian business number (ABN) and be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- be financially solvent
- meet any required financial contribution towards the project.
