Funding of up to $20,000.

Who is this for?

Western Australian tourism and travel agent businesses.


This program supports tourism and travel agent businesses with a higher reliance on interstate and/or international visitation impacted by COVID-19.

Tourism and travel agent businesses, either home-based or bricks-and-mortar, include:

  • businesses that provide travel information
  • reservation and booking services for transport (e.g. planes, ships and rental cars)
  • accommodation (e.g. hotels, motels and serviced apartments)
  • tourist attractions (e.g. theme and amusement parks and museums).

Funding of between $5,000 and $10,000 (depending on commission levels) is available for eligible home-based agents and $20,000 for brick-and-mortar businesses.

What are the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, businesses must:

  • demonstrate a minimum 30% reduction in turnover between 2018-19 to 2020-21
  • have a minimum commission level of $25,000 for the 2018-19 financial year
  • be an active and registered travel agent with an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be a small business located, owned and operated in WA.
