Overview

Funding is available for new reforestation, agroforestry and soil carbon farming projects in the South West Land Division. Selected projects will deliver priority co-benefits, including:

  • increased biodiversity
  • salinity mitigation
  • soil health
  • improved agricultural productivity
  • Aboriginal economic and cultural opportunities.

The program is committed to achieving a diversity of projects and strongly encourages the involvement of the following:

  • Aboriginal landowners as project proponents
  • Aboriginal groups providing advice and services for projects
  • agroforestry projects that provide timber and biomass.

Check if you can apply

Application will be accepted from entities that:

  • are commercial farm property owners that operate as a primary producer, or on Aboriginal land, or who act on behalf of the property owner/s
  • have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • are registered for goods and services tax (GST)
  • use one or more of the approved scheme methods.

Projects must be located in the South West Land Division.
