Overview

This program aims to:

  • support projects that treat work-related gendered violence including sexual harassment as an occupational health and safety issue
  • create system and industry-wide change to prevent work-related gendered violence including sexual harassment in Victorian workplaces
  • trial innovative solutions that create workplace cultures of respect
  • tailor solutions to ensure the unique characteristics and challenges facing workers from different industries are addressed
  • increase workplace knowledge and understanding of work-related gendered violence including sexual harassment, so that duty holders are aware of their responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004
  • share project learnings and provide practical ideas and resources to support employers and workplace leaders reduce the risk of work-related gendered violence, including sexual harassment, in Victorian workplaces.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, an application must:

  • achieve the Respect Fund funding principles
  • target Victorian workplaces (the applicant can be based in other jurisdictions, but the project must focus exclusively on, and be delivered in Victorian workplaces with Victorian workers)
  • be from an organisation registered for goods and services tax (GST) and who holds an Australian business number (ABN).
