AusIndustry supporting... Aerofloat

There’s no shortage of engineering talent around the Anderson family dinner table. Aerofloat founder Ray Anderson, his son Michael and daughter Katie bring individual strengths to their family-owned/operated business, establishing the company as forward thinkers, who endeavour to set new industry standards.

In 2013, Aerofloat was enjoying year-on-year growth, sometimes doubling revenue targets. With this came the realisation that Aerofloat was no longer a little family business, and they really needed the expertise to elevate their strategy to the next level.

Innovation remains at the core of Aerofloat's DNA, from designing, to manufacturing and project delivery.

After an Accelerating Commercialisation grant to develop a patented high-flow waste-water system, the AusIndustry Entrepreneurs' Programme also enabled Aerofloat to access funding for management plans, marketing strategies, and sales processes.

Growth facilitator Monique Donaldson rates Aerofloat as the poster child for the program’s strategic development values.

With the help of AusIndustry, Aerofloat can boast a current financial year growth rate of 150%. Export revenue has grown tenfold in the past 8 years, and staffing has tripled.
Thanks to the value of having an independent sounding board, Aerofloat continues to seek out new global contracts, and outclass bigger competitors.

Having an expert and an independent view of the business, to have a real critical look via an evaluation report, solidified where we wanted to be.
